Sturgis & Bear Butte Helicopter Tour $130 pp (Approximately 15 minutes and 15 miles)

This flight departs from the Stump Beer Garden at Lamphere Ranch in Sturgis and takes you over downtown Sturgis to witness all the action from a bird's-eye view on Lazelle St and Main St.  You will fly past the infamous Sturgis sign on Sly Hill and the Jackpine Gypsies Pro Hill Climb racetracks.  We then head out to the beautiful Bear Butte State Park and reservoir, a sacred mountain for many Indian tribes for more than 4,000 years who come here to pray and hold their traditional ceremonies. Honored by leaders like Red Cloud, Crazy Horse, and Sitting Bull, the mountain was formed from volcanic rock and is often referred to as Bear Mountain due to its profile resembling a sleeping bear.
